NATIONAL WOMEN’S TEAM NEW HEAD COACH ANNOUNCEMENT

Major announcement:

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and other commitments, Glenn Woodhouse has had to resign as Head Coach of the FAF National Women’s Futsal Team for the upcoming AMF Women’s Futsal World Cup that is set to be played in Colombia in late October 2022.

Federation of Australian Futsal would like to thank Glenn for his outstanding contribution to the last National Women’s team that reached an incredible 9th place at the 2017 Women’s Futsal World Cup, we would also like to wish him all the best for the future and hope that he may be available to coach in the future for the Federation.

As a result of this, Mick Day has been appointed as the new Head Coach of the National Women’s Futsal Team the “Golden Wattles” and an Assistant Coach will be appointed soon.
