YOUTH MEN’S U20’S ASSISTANT COACH APPOINTED!

Announcing Australia’s Youth Men’s Under 20s Assistant Coach Patrick Pace.

Patrick has been involved in Futsal from a very young age, and since 2015 he is the only player in Australia to represent his country in three AMF Futsal World Cups and was appointed as team captain in the 2023 Futsal World Cup.

He has also played in the Pacific Cup with AFA in 2015 and 2016. His playing history began at age 8 where he started playing Futsal and represented NSW at Nationals from U15s through to Men’s. He has also played for Inner West Allstars and Enfield Rovers in NPL1 division in NSW. He was given the opportunity in 2006 to train in Spain for 6 weeks with professional clubs, Playas de Castellon and Santiago lo Bello, where he impressed coaches with his technique and strength on the ball.

After a few injury setbacks, he returned to playing and made the National team for the 2015 AMF Futsal World Cup squad that was contested in Belarus. He has continued playing to date but has also taken on some coaching roles, coaching teams in U16s and U19 Youth throughout the years at Enfield Rovers and Sydney Futsal Club and is Assistant Coach at Sydney Futsal.

Hence, with Patrick’s extensive experience at the highest possible level combined with his knowledge of the game, it was an easy decision to appoint him as Assistant Coach for the U20s Youth National Futsal Team.
