FAF LAUNCH THE NATIONAL SOUTHERN CROSS FUTSAL LEAGUES
Despite the current lockdowns in NSW and Victoria Federation of Australian Futsal has secured National Futsal Leagues to be played in 5 States in 2021 for not only Senior Men’s but also with Junior, Youth and Women’s Leagues kicking off!
Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia is all set to Kick-Off in October 2021 with NSW and Victoria ready to start as soon as restrictions are lifted and they can return to the Futsal courts?
“What is the National Southern Cross Futsal Leagues”, you may ask?
The National Southern Cross Futsal Leagues were established in 2020/21 to not only create a higher level of competition across Australia from Juniors to Seniors for both Men and Women but also to develop the Sport and the Futsal Player!
The structure behind the leagues is Conference based, with each Conference running their own leagues in their respective regions/area.
Clubs or Teams competing in these Conferences will not only play to win their league, but they will also play for a spot in the National League Play-Offs Final, where they will compete against the top two (2) Teams from each Conference from around Australia to become Australian National Champions!
The National Champions will then be invited to an International AMF Club Tournament that will be held each year (ages 11 and over).
The 2021/22 National Southern Cross Futsal Leagues will be played in 7 different Conferences across 5 States in Australia, making it the only National Futsal League for both Seniors and Juniors in Australia!
2021/22 SCFL Conferences are:
1. Sydney Conference – Managed by Evo Futsal in Sydney, NSW
2. Melbourne Conference – Managed by Victorian Futsal Event Management in Melbourne, VICTORIA.
3. Adelaide Conference – Managed by SA Futsal Super 5’s in Adelaide, South Australia.
4. Perth Conference – Managed by Just Futsal Clinic in Perth, WA
5. FNQ Conference – Managed by Futsal FNQ in Cairns, QLD
6. Brisbane Conference – Managed by Brisbane Central Futsal in Brisbane, QLD
7. Northern NSW Conference – Managed by both Just Futsal and North Coast Futsal in Port Macquarie, Ballina and Byron Bay, NSW.
